Analysis of Plain Concrete Pavement Deflection due to Swelling on Expansive Soil

This research was conducted on the Surakarta-Gemolong-Geyer road, which is suspected to be built expansive land. Every day, this road always passed by large vehicles, so it feared that will easily damaged if not routinely carried out maintenance. study aims analyze damage rigid pavement highway using ATENA 3D software. The analyzed in deflection. factors make crack and wide were added heavy vehicle load swelling. swelling test soil laboratory 37 kPa. results obtained after analysis with showed differences deflection at each loading variation. variation of middle pressure has a value -15.49 mm; without pressure, -16.37 mm. -15.33 mm -12.4 mm, respectively. Corner maximum 1.28 -0.26 can used as reference prediction identifying cracks occur government carry maintenance rehabilitation before damaged.
